Laura and Julian’s wedding at Villa Cetinale (Tuscany) was incredibly touching. Credit goes to this wonderful couple, who lives between New York and Hong Kong but decided to celebrate their big day in the Tuscan countryside, and to the chosen venue, a stunning 17th-century villa.
The building is absolutely breathtaking! Designed by the architect Carlo Fontana, in the Roman Baroque style, the villa was built in 1680 by Cardinal Flavio Chigi for Pope Alexander VII. Strategically located (within easy reach of major towns like Florence, Siena, Pisa, Rome), Villa Cetinale also hosts some among the most beautiful Italian gardens.
Here, the two spouses pledged their wedding vows to each other in an intimate atmosphere, surrounded by friends and relatives who arrived from far-off places just to wish the couple a life of happiness and joy. The uncertain weather didn’t spoil the light-hearted and joyful atmosphere, which culminated with the cut of the cake (handcrafted by Sugarcup Cake Design) and with the unrestrained party.
Weddings by Silke’s planners organised Laura and Julian’s marriage leaving no detail unattended. The floral arrangements of Siloh Floral and Nicnillasink’s stationery were absolutely marvellous, while the music (by Folk Duo, Olive in Love and The Jets) was just perfect in every moment. The photographer Kurt Boomer was there with us to capture such heart touching moments. We wish Laura and Julian a wonderful life, full of the same joy and happiness that filled their special day!
